Land Boat is a terracotta sculpture built in blocks, both fragmented and whole. Lines are incised onto the terracotta through white clay slip, to create the ghostly landscapes from memory.

Memory is woven throughout

our lives, and we can return to it in our minds many different times. My images were all drawn, from memory, at the end of the day during  my road trip to Montana and Wyoming, long solo drives through  breath-taking landscapes.
